Haitian-born, Massachusetts-raised Dutch Rebelle isn't showing signs of slowing down

Born Vanda Bernadeau in Hinche, Haiti to a Haitian mother and Haitian-Dominican father, Dutch ReBelle is known for “mixing introspective, punch-lined filled lyrics with heart pounding production".

The Boston hip-hop community knows well what ReBelle brings to the entertainment scene. Dutch ReBelle has been releasing hit songs for years. She has become genuine respect for the energy she has put in Boston's hip-hop platform. ReBelle is a rising lyricist who is determined to empower others through her music. Her debut "Beauty vs. The Beast" mixtape, which was released almost 10 years ago, took the New England music scene with a bang, and in the same year, she won Best Female Rap and Best Rap Group awards with Famous Awards. Also, ReBelle's MeStyle Friday YouTube series has gained a significant following throughout the East Coast.


Dutch ReBelle (Vanda Bernadeau) was born in Hinche, Haiti, to a Haitian mother and Haitian-Dominican father. The Massachusetts-raised hip-hop star is well known for mixing introspective, funny lyrics with exciting production. ReBelle's passion for music started at a younger age; she began rapping at the age of nine years. However, she decided to become serious in pursuing her hip-hop journey in college, Penn State University, where she was studying law. In one of the significant interviews she had, ReBelle revealed that she almost dropped out of college during the third year. Later on, she decided to she opted to change her major to study communications and journalism.

Described as an exotic Beauty with a lyrical Beast, Dutch ReBelle has performed in many different venues such as SOBs, legendary House of Blues, etc. for significant events such as T-Pain, Wale, Grammy-nominated Melanie Fiona, among others. She also performed at SXSW in Austin, TX, which involved activities such as the Hustlepalooza and the Rocksmith Tokyo. In Los Angeles, ReBelle, Shawnna, and Roxanne Shante were allowed to perform for the 2nd Annual Female Hip Hop Awards.


ReBelle has released some hit raps that have echoed in memorable events and cities around the world. The Kiss Kiss (2015) and Bang Bang (2018) are some of the best of her songs from where she draws her inspiration. Other songs include Tonight, Big Zoe, SupaFly, Sunday Morning, among many more.


Dutch ReBelle has worked with many producers in her projects like Intl. Show, Cartier C., Martin Mitymaose, among others. Also, she has had collaborations with various artists in her music, such as The Perceptionists, Reks, Statik Selektah, Slaine, 12For12 Boston, among many others. With so many projects, ReBelle keeps on growing as a businesswoman and artist. Other than being an artist, ReBelle is known well as a dancer, poet, lyricist, record company owner, a producer (both music and video), influencer, and philanthropist. She has received several nominations in the Boston Music Awards over the past couple years and is heavily involved in her community.


Dutch ReBelle dropped another one with "BIG ZOE" producer Intl Show right in time to kick off the Summer.
